Perhaps it seems a little slow, but if you watched any chess game you know how much the thought process is involved. The acting was excellent --- China knows how to produce a quality movie with beautiful scenes and sets. Cheng Yi and Zhang Yu Xi have very believable chemistry. He Sheng Ming so believably cruel and Lulu Xuan so believably beautiful. And of course Han Dong is a great actor in anything he does. One thing you see in many of these movies filmed in China is a struggle between good and evil. Those in leadership who are good have to always surmount unbelievable odds.
