Revolutionary Love

This drama, Revolutionary Love, is a South Korean Drama.  The title is a little misleading.  It is not about a revolution in the political sense of the word but it is about the transformation of a young useless rich chaebol into a solid caring and courageous individual who takes on not only injustice, but his father and brother as well.

It is about three young people who's lives happen to intertwine in interesting look at parents, children and the conglomerate world of big business.  One thing that is very good about this drama is that it does have a redeeming ending as the crooked places are made straight and the good people remain good through the drama.

It's fund to watch the character of Byun Hyuk and Kwon, Jae Hoon evolve.  The useless son, Byun Hyuk played by Choi Si-Won, the carefree part-time employee Baek Jun played by Kang So-ra and her long time friend and subservient character of Kwon, Jae Hoon played by Gong Myung.  Some interested other characters were Byun Woo-Sung played by the handsome Lee Jae-yoon who interestingly enough is a very familiar face seen in "Glorious Temptation," "Mother," and "Golden Rainbow," to name a few.  Choi Jae-Sung played the father figure Byun Kang-Soo, recently in Designated Survivor, who ran this company Gang-Su with an iron fist literally.

Kyeon Mi-ri played the beautiful wife of Byun Kang-Soo.  I said beautiful because I saw her in the first Kdrama I ever watched, "Wonderful Mama," in 2013 and she please an plain but sweet mother, married to a deaf mute.  It was great to see that after seven years appearing in many films she is as beautiful as ever.

The camera loves these young stars and over all I would say it is worth watching this drama.  Many times, I will begin a drama and not end one. But when I finish a drama in a week or so, then that says to me the story line was great, the acting was great and the ending was great.  It's not a movie that will impact your thinking, but it is a great movie about the next generation changing the old generation's way of doing business.

Hope you enjoy Revolutionary Love too.
