FIERCE WIFE ON NETFLIX

 


Beautiful housewife, Xie An Zhen, seems to be living the perfect life, but finds her world crumbling after learning her husband is cheating on her.  Staring Sonia Sui, James Wen, Amanda Chu on Netflix.

This is the first Taiwan produced drama that I have enjoyed watching in the last two years.  It all revolves around a very successful happily married couple who are approaching their 10th anniversary.  They have a beautiful home, success, a cute daughter, a wonderful supportive family and the husband is very successful and in line for a promotion to Vice President at his company.

Everything is great until a relative of An Zhen who has no place to stay is allowed to stay with the family until she gets settled.  This story really sheds the light when husbands and wives take each other for granted and are so trusting when allowing strangers to move in.  It also shares how one mistake can impact and cause so much pain and agony to everyone involved.

Bring a lot of Kleenex when you are watching this drama and 39 chapters will fly by.  

I love how the producers and directors too their time in filming intimate emotional scenes.  You not only could experience the moment but also are drawn into the reality of the suffering caused by infidelity.  Cute little Yu Meng "A Bao" made even my husband cry.  The cast was great!  The brother in law Patrick Li was a riot!

WEAVING A TALE OF LOVE ON VIKI

I am recommending this Chinese Drama because of the story line. The two main characters played by Gulnezer Bextiyar (Kudi LiuLi/ Xian Dou Zi) and Timmy Xu (Pei Xing Jian) catches your interest right away. Although sometimes the character Kudi Liuli is unbelievable as a girl posting as a boy because she is too pretty, it all plays well into the storyline of that era when dress as a boy you were a boy. Timmy Xu please Pei Xing Jian excellently as did the actors who played the parts of the Eunuch Sun De Cheng and Crown Prince Li Zhi. It is 40 episodes and you can't stop watching. The ending is very beautiful for once. There are quite a bit of nailbiting tense scenes but truth prevails. Get out the popcorn and kleenex and enjoy this drama!

VINCENZO

VINCENZO STARRING Song Joong-Ki. I decided to watch this because of Song Joong-Ki. And, I wasn't disappointed. The character Vincenzo is suave, handsome, smart and daring. It reminds me of 007 and Mr. and Mrs. Smith. It is the best role since Descendants of the Sun because it showcases his talents but also his looks. The cast of characters are interesting and maybe a little predictable but the main star is Song Joong-Ki. He really pulls it off. I think you will enjoy watching this new TV series. I have only seen the first 4 episodes but I like what I am seeing and hopefully the fans of Joong-Ki will like it as well. So pop come homemade popcorn and enjoy this latest TV drama on Netflix.
