  Beautiful housewife, Xie An Zhen, seems to be living the perfect life, but finds her world crumbling after learning her husband is cheating on her.  Staring Sonia Sui, James Wen, Amanda Chu on Netflix. This is the first Taiwan produced drama that I have enjoyed watching in the last two years.  It all revolves around a very successful happily married couple who are approaching their 10th anniversary.  They have a beautiful home, success, a cute daughter, a wonderful supportive family and the husband is very successful and in line for a promotion to Vice President at his company. Everything is great until a relative of An Zhen who has no place to stay is allowed to stay with the family until she gets settled.  This story really sheds the light when husbands and wives take each other for granted and are so trusting when allowing strangers to move in.  It also shares how one mistake can impact and cause so much pain and agony to everyone involved. THE GLAMOUROUS IMPERIAL CONCUBINE

I thought I saw this drama before. So, I ignored it on Netflix. Once there was nothing else I was interested in watching I thought why not watch this one again! And guess what? It was a Chinese Historic Costume drama that I must have overlooked. The Glamourous Imperial Concubine is a wonderful story of a young lady who is of a child of a prominent family who was falsely accused and killed. As a young child she escapes with her little brother who is separated from her and they both grow in different families. Her aunt was able to get her into the palace as a child in training to be a servant to the Crown Prince. It is fascinating weave of relationships and experiences as she grows from a child into a young maid in training to serve in one of the palaces in under the King. It is worth watching and it has love, betrayal, restoration, and many other emotional events that causes the viewers to want to binge view with program. Not only that, the casing if excellent. You can download the VIKI app on ROKU or your cell phone and for only $4.99 a month you can watch hundreds of great dramas, movies without commercials. STAND BY ME IS ONE OF THE GREAT ONES. 49 CHAPTERS, WORTH EVERY MINUTE OF IT. The telling and interweaving of Chess in this story line is really excellent. Perhaps it seems a little slow, but if you watched any chess game you know how much the thought process is involved. The acting was excellent --- China knows how to produce a quality movie with beautiful scenes and sets. Cheng Yi and Zhang Yu Xi have very believable chemistry. He Sheng Ming so believably cruel and Lulu Xuan so believably beautiful. And of course Han Dong is a great actor in anything he does. One thing you see in many of these movies filmed in China is a struggle between good and evil. Those in leadership who are good have to always surmount unbelievable odds. WEAVING A TALE OF LOVE ON VIKI

I am recommending this Chinese Drama because of the story line. The two main characters played by Gulnezer Bextiyar (Kudi LiuLi/ Xian Dou Zi) and Timmy Xu (Pei Xing Jian) catches your interest right away. Although sometimes the character Kudi Liuli is unbelievable as a girl posting as a boy because she is too pretty, it all plays well into the storyline of that era when dress as a boy you were a boy. Timmy Xu please Pei Xing Jian excellently as did the actors who played the parts of the Eunuch Sun De Cheng and Crown Prince Li Zhi. It is 40 episodes and you can't stop watching. The ending is very beautiful for once. There are quite a bit of nailbiting tense scenes but truth prevails. Get out the popcorn and kleenex and enjoy this drama!

VINCENZO STARRING Song Joong-Ki. I decided to watch this because of Song Joong-Ki. And, I wasn't disappointed. The character Vincenzo is suave, handsome, smart and daring. It reminds me of 007 and Mr. and Mrs. Smith. It is the best role since Descendants of the Sun because it showcases his talents but also his looks. The cast of characters are interesting and maybe a little predictable but the main star is Song Joong-Ki. He really pulls it off. I think you will enjoy watching this new TV series. I have only seen the first 4 episodes but I like what I am seeing and hopefully the fans of Joong-Ki will like it as well. So pop come homemade popcorn and enjoy this latest TV drama on Netflix.

GO AHEAD - LETS GO TOGETHER

This video was shown on Viki.com my choice for watching Asian Dramas. What attracted me to watch this drama was its high rating. I was not disappointed. The story is about three families with three children who were drawn together because of life issues. What was amazing to me was the casting. The families actually looked like they were related unlike American dramas who cast stars whether or not they look like other family members. It shares real life issues that children face as kids and that follow them through young adult hood. It also shares keys to getting breakthroughs in life restoring faith and happiness while going through difficulties. The main character is a bright, self-willed but caring child named JianJian. Because I have a blog 7Jians as a fan clud for the new Enhypen Big Hit Group, Jake, Jay, Jungwon, Ice (Sunghoon), Ace, (Heesung), Ni-ki and Sunoo I know what Jian means strong and healthy and that is what little Jian is. Crash Landing on You on Netflix

I started watching this drama twice and left it for some of the other dramas I reviewed in this blog.  But the third time, I finally watched it from the beginning. Hyun Bin's part was so manly and strong.  and  Son Ye-Jin played beautifully the part of a successful business woman who had to come down to earth literally in a nation that was simple, kind and very humble.   It portrayed North Koreans as people who have the same emotions as people all over the world.  They love to laugh, love, sing, dance and of course eat.   What was nice in this drama that you saw at least four cameos of really big Korean stars playing a taxi driver, a secret agent, a movie star and a taxi driver.  Other notables were Captain Ri's father, actor Jeon Kuk-Hwan who is seen in many KDramas. Korean Dramas generally a well thought out stories with many twists and turns that somehow connect the characters together with destiny.  And, most of the time, although the leads fall in love, you never see them
