I - LAND Viki.com's Successful New Reality Show

I saw this post on Rakuten's VIKI.com channel and thought it was another sciene fiction drama or something to do with Noah's Ark.  

I-Land is one of the best new ventures into reality television following the lives for 23 young lads who are competing to become the next big KPOP group. 
This I-Land is a location especially built for this TV Reality Drama and has two sections.  

Each week contestants have six days to practice a very difficult song and song routine selected by the judges.  Sometimes they compete individually, but most of the time they compete as a team.  The youngest contestant is 14 years old and the oldest 22 years old.

The neat thing the judges are well known to the KPOP community they are Rain (Jung Ji-hoon (Korean: 정지훈, born June 25, 1982), better known by his stage name Rain (Korean 비 IPA ['piː]), is a South Korean singer-songwriter, actor, and music producer.who has been featured on many TV dramas and movies plus music videos as one of Korea's KPOP legend)  and Zico (Woo Ji-ho (Korean: 우지호; born September 14, 1992), better known by his stage name Zico (Korean: 지코), is a South Korean rapper, record producer and singer-songwriter. He debuted as the leader of the boy band Block B in 2011 and made his first solo release in 2014.[1]another very popular Rapper) and Bang Si-Hyuk, President of Big Hit Entertainment.

If you have skipped over this new reality program, please go back to watch all the episodes in order.  You will fall in love with every cast member and the judges as well.  Even the EMCee is someone very familiar to those of you who are fans of KDramas, Namkoong Min.(Namkoong Min (Hangul: 남궁민, born March 12, 1978) is a South Korean actor, director and screenwriter. He first gained recognition with neo-noir film A Dirty Carnival (2006), and has since received praise for his performances in Remember: War of the Son (2015–2016), Beautiful Gong Shim (2016), Good Manager (2017), Falsify (2017), Doctor Prisoner (2019) and Hot Stove League (2019-2020).

Within this group of talented performers is a world champion figure skater who is giving up skating to participate in this competition and he is not only an outstanding skater for an excellent singer and dancer.  The entire cast are the best of the new talent coming up but you will remember certain cast members right away,

Lee Heesung - 18 years old - all around great singer and dancer
Daniel - 14 years old - Korean American - singer
Lee Geonu - 19 years old - great singer
Park Sung Hoon -17 years old, won gold medal in figure skating - great singer
K - 22 Years old - dancer and choreographer
Ni-Ki  14 years old, singer and dancer
Jay  18 years old, Korean American 
and many others in the cast that you will love.

This program's competition causes the contestants to be switched up to I'land the fabulous living quarters for the top 12 contestants to the Ground which are the bottom contestants but not really as they are have the opportunity to go back and forth. 

WATCH THIS PROGRAM. LIKE AMERICAN IDOL EXCEPT YOU SEE ALOT OF THE DRAMA LIKE BIG BROTHER.  AND THESE CONTESTANTS ARE LIKE BIG BROTHERS TO ONE ANOTHER.

WEAVING A TALE OF LOVE ON VIKI

I am recommending this Chinese Drama because of the story line. The two main characters played by Gulnezer Bextiyar (Kudi LiuLi/ Xian Dou Zi) and Timmy Xu (Pei Xing Jian) catches your interest right away. Although sometimes the character Kudi Liuli is unbelievable as a girl posting as a boy because she is too pretty, it all plays well into the storyline of that era when dress as a boy you were a boy. Timmy Xu please Pei Xing Jian excellently as did the actors who played the parts of the Eunuch Sun De Cheng and Crown Prince Li Zhi. It is 40 episodes and you can't stop watching. The ending is very beautiful for once. There are quite a bit of nailbiting tense scenes but truth prevails. Get out the popcorn and kleenex and enjoy this drama!

VINCENZO

VINCENZO STARRING Song Joong-Ki. I decided to watch this because of Song Joong-Ki. And, I wasn't disappointed. The character Vincenzo is suave, handsome, smart and daring. It reminds me of 007 and Mr. and Mrs. Smith. It is the best role since Descendants of the Sun because it showcases his talents but also his looks. The cast of characters are interesting and maybe a little predictable but the main star is Song Joong-Ki. He really pulls it off. I think you will enjoy watching this new TV series. I have only seen the first 4 episodes but I like what I am seeing and hopefully the fans of Joong-Ki will like it as well. So pop come homemade popcorn and enjoy this latest TV drama on Netflix.
